Yes! The prelims are finally over! Haha just left with one more E-maths paper 2 and ole ole ole ole~! Frankly speaking I`m more worried for the prelims than the real O`levels. Maybe because it is expected that the prelims will be harder than the O`levels? I really hope so. But i think this year our prelims are almost like o`level standard? Except for Bio and SS. But i think History also gone case. I mistook 'modernisation' for 'industrialisation' only. Darn. Hopefully the school will moderate for English, Bio and humans! =P And hope that my physics, chemistry and e-maths will turn out well. I`ve pinned high hopes on them! x)
1st 3 months, or rather 2 months, no need go NJC liao. After learning that we can only use 4 bonus marks maximum, I deleted this thought, as we already have 4 bonus marks, for cca and higher chinese.
However, there`s more beyond just getting bonus marks.
Firstly, if we get into the 1st 3 months, we`ll be able to make new friends first. So we`ll be able to have good friends, or so called cliques. If we don`t get into the 1st 3 months, it`ll be harder for us to blend into the environment. We won`t be able to have cliques as everyone has already found theirs.
Secondly, if we get into the 1st 3 months, we`ll learn more than those who do not enter during that period of time.
However, not all students will stay in the same JC after getting their results in March. Some will leave the school, some will transfer, some will stay, while others will enter the new school. The courses they will take might change, so won`t it defeat the purpose of having the 1st 3 months? So afterall, not getting into the 1st 3 months isn`t too bad, is it?
